Sunday Morning At The Grandy & Ganna Inn
Sleeping in. Grady is a late sleeper and he is not a happy camper come Monday morning when we wake him up at 7. This picture was taken around 8:30 Sunday morning and he was still passed out.

Chocolate Chip Please

Life is good when you are eating a big chocolate chip cookie in your new dinosaur pajamas and sitting on the kitchen table. Life is even better when Ganna gets home and gives you another chocolate chip cookie.
And on a side note, life is best when you have a family like we do. Thank you to everyone who has helped us out so much with selling our house and buying a new one. We truly could not do it without you. I can't think of many people who have family's that will pack up their homes for them, bring entire work crews in to redo the new house, provide many hours of manual labor, meet people for estimates, chase Grady around and agree to have their home invaded by a family of 3 for over a month (and do their laundry, feed them and take care of them). We are so blessed. I wish every child had the love and support that we do and most importantly, that Grady does.

Good Morning

Grandy isn't a big fan of waking up bright and early in the morning. However, Grady has cured that problem over the past week. He is sleepy in the mornings too and likes to snuggle and watch his cartoons. For the past 4 days, Grandy has met Grady on the couch by 7 a.m. for a little morning wake up time. I don't know what he is going to do when Grady moves to his new house.

Busy, Busy, Busy
Merry Christmas, Happy New Years and I'm sure we have missed other important things too. The house is coming along great, we have new cabinets and doors thanks to our handy team from Jacksonville and all of their hard work. Daddy has the floors and ceilings looking good and we've been working hard to get everything ready to live in. For now, this is how we are spending New Year's Eve...putting together Grady's cool new Home Depot work station:

Here Comes Santa Claus...
And this year Mr. Whites explained that Santa wasn't a bad guy but he is the one who brings all the presents. After last years failed attempt #1 and #2, Santa is probably relieved that Grady was happy to sit on his lap.
So Grady used him as his helper and handed all the wrapping paper over to Santa. Santa gave Grady the coolest fishing pole, it is orange and blue! Santa's helpers did a good job with that one.Monday, December 21, 2009

We're Going On A Mr. Whites Hunt...

Mr. Whites
Our elf on the shelf has come out of his hiding place to keep tabs on Grady until Christmas. He finally got a name, Mr. Whites. Mr. Whites flies back to the North Pole every night to tell Santa whether Grady was a good boy that day or not. Then he returns to a different spot and Grady has to go on an elf hunt every morning. So far, threats that Mr. Whites is watching have not worked as planned. Santa may have to return some toys if Mr. Whites can't report that Grady has been a good boy who does what his parents tell him to do...Wednesday, December 2, 2009
