On a completely unrelated note...Grady and I walked around the mall the other night to fight boredom since Dale is off putting criminals in prison and once he spotted the carousel, there was no denying him a ride. First he spotted a giraffe and you would have thought he found his best friend he was so excited, too bad it was one of the few animals that didn't move.

Next we moved to a horse but he only lasted for about 30 seconds before he spotted COCKY!!!! Here he is demanding to be transferred to the cooler animal:

And here he is in heaven on cocky's back:

He cried all the way to the car and kept pointing back to the carousel and saying "cocky" in the most pitiful voice. Lesson to take away from this; I can no longer visit the mall without a stash of dollar bills for the carousel.

When Grady Grabs The Camera

There was also a picture of my butt on the camera when I looked at it this morning. Close up! I hit delete as fast as my fingers would move.

The Playroom Has Furniture

We made a quick trip to Hickory on our day off and came back with a few places for Grady to sit and watch his favorite shows.

Problem is, he can't really see the t.v. from where he sits.So until we splurge and get Grady his very own big screen t.v., we can rest assured that he will not be a couch potato! This is parenting at its best.

Slip & Sliding

Sorry for the poor picture quality, the good camera was at work so I had to resort to the high quality camera that blackberry provides. We had lots of backyard fun until our water pump quit though. Then Grady just sat there and got frustrated because nothing would come out of the hose. And yes, he is in the nude. The boy hates clothes.

Hannon's Wedding

Unfortunately the one time Grady said "cheese" and smiled, the camera was blurry. Grady and Hardy danced the night away.

He even let me step in for a few dances.

He was the best little ring bearer in the world. He walked down the aisle and did his job perfectly. I'm on the lookout for the video and if I get a copy, I'll put it up.

Guess Who Went To The Masters?

Not this guy. Uncle Brian did though and he brought Grady back some pretty cool Masters clothes. Grady was rooting for Phil yesterday and he pulled through.

Flashback

This was Easter 2 years ago. I can't even remember him being that small.

And We Have A Trampoline

Grady's Christmas present has been sitting on our back porch in 2 huge boxes for about 5 months now. Until this weekend. The men got out their tools and built another monsterous play thing in our back yard.

And of course Grady helped the whole time.

He loves it! And I love that you can zip him in there. It is like a giant play pen outside in the yard!

Happy Easter!

Grady finally got his vineyard vines bow tie and he actually kept it on.

His shirt lasted almost a whole hour before it was covered with chocolate. He learned the art of pez dispensers and how tasty the little candies are.

We went to Chapin Presbyterian for an Easter egg hunt on Saturday and he caught on very well.

The only problem is that he lacking in the rear end area and all of his shorts fall off way too easily. I think he would have gotten way more eggs if he didn't have to stop and fix his shorts every few steps.

Next time you see me I will probably be ten pounds heavier because Grady got enough Easter candy to fill an entire store. And I can't let him risk getting cavities so I am going to have to hurry up and eat it all before he can get to it.
