Scotty, The Scott Brothers & The Little Scott

Meet Scotty, Grady's newest friend. She is a distant cousin, somehow, and her middle name is Scott so she goes by Scotty. Scotty is a Christmas baby so she is only a few weeks older than Grady. They had a great time in the pool, Scotty really took to Uncle Brian, like all kids.
Grady and Scotty exchanged a few tips. Grady explained how cool it is to be able to swim. You just jump in whenever you want and get tossed around.
Scotty told Grady how cool it was to be potty trained and not have to walk around in dirty diapers anymore. Grady responded by telling her that he could care less about the dirty diapers, he's only working on it for m&m's.

I'm not sure if either of them really took anything noteworthy or educational away from their play date, but at least we got some cute cousin pictures.

Sharing

Sweet little Jim came over to play for the 4th. He gave Grady a run for his money on playing with toys. Grady wasn't too sure what to think of this new guy having a blast with all of his favorite things. So he did what any reasonable kid would do...he packed them all up and moved them to his bedroom. At least they weren't fighting over toys!

We're Going On A Rabbit Hunt...

On our first ever walk around the new neighborhood, Grady spotted a rabbit. Now, every night Grady wants to go on a walk and search the woods for more "wabbits". I think that he thinks they stay in the same spot waiting for him because we have to check out every place a rabbit has ever been spotted to see if he is still there. Unfortunately though, no rabbit is going to stick around when this starts coming towards him:"Whoaaaa....big rock!"Doing what every little boy would do, trying to get a closer look at the new house being built a few doors down...Contemplating how to get inside. Then dreaming of the destruction he could cause...And this is the way the walk home goes when the rabbit hunt is unsuccessful (pay close attention to his face):

Swim Lessons

Grady and Miss Ellison had some swim lessons together a few weeks ago. The kid teaching them didn't have a clue what he was doing but they are both swimming now so I guess it was $40 well spent!
